About the event
The Ballina Shire Council's Emergency Management Resilience Officer has offered us a 'Disaster Preparedness Workshop' which involves identifying local community priorities associated with the 4 recovery environments (social, natural, built, and economic). This workshop will be very useful for our community in considering the risks, issues, strengths, and opportunities for better disaster preparedness specific to our area.
This workshop will run for 2 hours and will be interactive and we may also have some local Emergency Management staff in attendance. We will work through some questions associated with each environment based on the BSC community emergency management toolkit/workbook.
This workshop is open to everyone in the local community!
BONUS: Catering will be provided for those that can join us for the workshop!
