Most of you would be well aware of our article on the Cumbalum Community Circle (which is a proposal of a walking pathway circling the sports fields and the wetlands) and if not, then please feel free to read that one too!

As a brief reminder, the Cumbalum Residents Association has an ambitious proposal to enhance our community’s recreational infrastructure: the 'Cumbalum Community Circle,' a multi-use and accessible pathway envisioned to wrap around the existing sports fields at the gateway to Ballina Heights North Estate. Our mission is to create a community hub that not only serves as a recreational asset but also enriches the community's quality of life.

This project has already been submitted to council in its initial stages with a positive response, however, we need your support to take it further. We have finally reached a stage where we are collecting signatures via an online petition to show the Ballina Shire Council that the communities in Cumbalum and all around Ballina are passionate about supporting this project to go ahead and enrich all of Ballina!

Cumbalum has often felt like a neglected area, however we believe this project is a chance to turn things around. The Cumbalum Community Circle project will support local wildlife, create a shared space we can all enjoy, and bring new life into our area. By signing the petition, you’re saying yes to renewal, connection, and a brighter future for our neighbourhood.
